hey all,

my name is derrick im 18 and i live in medicine hat alberta, canada. right now i currently own a 89 skyline gtst
i realy took a liking to the mk3 supras that are being imported from japan, a few of my buddies own em, 2 in total and i absolutley fell in love with them and i am planning on getting one imported myseld this spring. they seem like the unforgotten car, when you tell people about them they arent as interested if you say mk3 instead of mk4 lol

i realy hate not knowing a thing about a car before i buy it, i researched skyline for 4 years before i actually bought one lol.

so i hope to learn alot in the next 6 or so months before i make a purchase.

but for now other than the weak headgaskets is there any small facts you can give me about the RHD supras, or the 1jz motor in general, mod friendly easy to service ect?

or is there any thread or site you can reconmend me visiting i have been browseing through the builds and i have to say they look realy good.

the 1jz japan cars don't have headgasket issues like the 7m motors....only real issue you may have with a 1j mkiii is the twin turbos blow....but that can be solved with a big single conversion....you are in a better position than most us here in America...

Ps. I'm Canadian and used to live in red deer ab
