New to MKIII's and need help getting coilovers

Ok so ive searched every major coilover brands, and they only make coilovers for 87 and up. What i was wondering was if coilovers for an 87 fit an 86.5. I would appreciate it if u guys can help me out here. Thanks in advance.

Have you looked through the Suspension and Vehicle Dynamics sub forum on here?
There may be something that could help you out.

I'm thinking that (dont quote me on this but) they just "round" the year numbers er whatever when it comes to supplying parts for us and that it wouldnt make a difference... I'm not too sure lol. Maybe someone here can give a better answer..

yes, as it's a half year transition.

They're all the same, don't worry about it.

Keep in mind that cheap coilovers are just that, cheap.

Yup, 87-92 is all MKIII's. Just think of the 86.5 as a very early 87.
