well the other day i just changed the spark plugs on this truck and when i went to turn it over, i just cranked, but wouldnt start up. it was soooo damn close but just wouldnt do it. so i just messed around with shit and wiggled wires and then it ended up starting. the next morning i go out to leave for work, and it wont start again. same thing as the night before.

i know it sounds like bad plug wires but i swapped them out for some new ones and it still didnt start. i ended up putting everything original back in (wires and even the old spark plugs). went to start it and it didnt the same as usual. i played around with trying to start it and ended up getting it started by just letting it crank for only about a second along with giving it a little gas.

what the hell is wrong with it!?

any questions ask, any pointers would be very helpful as its not my car and it looks like im a dumb shit now. thanks in advance

First let me start with it a ford!!!!
Second help us out how does it run when its running and driving????? Sounds to me like your problem is not spark its fuel. Could be like a preasure regulator ect. Could even be air, how is your air filter??? Could even be mass air sensor ect.. These are just guesses help us out with other symptoms.

I've had a lot of good and bad experience with Ford. My current 94 Ranger and my older 89 Ranger were great, my 86 Bronco II was a pile of feces... argh, so bad.

In any case, you've got to pick and choose what you're going to get from Ford, I wouldn't buy a new Ford though, not without knowing how it stacks up for a few years.

Actually that has been my experience for the most part, pretty impressed with their trucks in General, not so much with the cars. Though that Bronco was possibly the worst vehicle ever. :p
