ok, just got of the phone with a shop that can make the custom flexplate to allow the use of off the shelf gm convertors. it will require me to send a stock flexplate so he can reuse the ring gear, but other then that itll be all new parts. and i let him know it will need to be sfi approved for drag racing etc.. they may make more later, but for now, just need mine to finish my swap. lol
anyway, to the point, i need these measurments from anyone that has them.
#1 distance from the block/bh mating surface to the flexplate/tq convertor mating surface on a gm v8 with th350 or th400 flexplate.
#2 the distance from the block/bh mating surface to the flexplate/tq convertor mating surface for a 7m
#3 measurement from the front pump to the bh/block mating surface on a th400.
#4 measurement from the front pump to the bh/block mating surface of a a340 bh bolted to the th400 (ill do this myself)
#5 the bolt pattern of the gm tq convertor to the flexplate bolts. i know its 3 bolts, but need the bolt circle.
#6 the diameter of the tq convertor snout of the stock gm convertors
#7 the diamater of the pilot bushing hole in the crank on the 7m.
guy will also have a adaptor to line the snout to the pilot hole obviously. lol anyway, if you have this info, please respond and lmk. once i find everything out ill see if maybe we can get a group buy goin for the guys that have gotten the h adaptors from me, with proper approval first of coarse. thanks in advance
