Hi, i have a problem that is driving me crazy, i replaced my head gasket a month ago and since then the problem began. First the check engine light said i had a bad TPS, i replaced it, (but i am not to sure if the guy sold me the right one) the # he sold me is 89452-28010, and my supra´s was 89452-28030, can you tell me if they are the same? i removed completely tha a/c; n i have codes 51 and 52. I think is A/C related and Knock senor. The problem is when i accelarate it kind of push back when turbo kicks in, if i release the pedal a bit, it keeps moving good if there is no pressure from the turbo. i replaced even the fuel pump with a 255lph one and drilled the j tube because i hear detonations when Throttle Body is fully open, seems like the engine is not reciviing enougth gas when it is reaching 3000 rpm . I have noticed it gets worst when car reaches its normal tempeture. I have checked for boost leaks but all the hoses are ok. I checked the vacuums and they are also ok, I am desspered now. I need the car at least working. I had black smog coming out of my exhaust when i first started it, and check the vsv, it was blocking vacuum to the fuel pressure regulator, i removed one of the two sensors and the black smog went away. But it had that problem even with vsv blocked. I suspect of the CPS wiring too. Can anyone give how colors match from cps to harness in a supra turbo 87? Please i need some advice.
