need help desperately.(distributor Plug)

i only have untill tonight to finish this and get it off my girlfriends grandma's property...

I accidentally got a green plug distributor.. when i have black plug harness.. i tried using a plug and no luck... i need to know what wires go to which.. tried searching and no good.

heres a pic of how it is now... which wires are wrong?( i put on a weather resistant plug i got from my dad... this isnt how its supposed to be)

So, to clarify, you're trying to connect a pre89 dizzy to a 89+ harness?

If no one else posts before I get home, I'll look up the wire colors for the pre89 when I get home.

yes that is correct... its a green plug distrubutor on a black plug harness

# - Engine Harness - Signal - Distributor

1 - Blue - NE - Red
2 - Red - G1 - Green
3 - Black - G- - White
4 - Yellow - G2 - Yellow

Engine harness colors for both years are the same color codes. I don't know if my distributor wires are coded the same as yours, but they seem to be. Looks like you've got the reds swapped.
