My 87 keeps blowing the interior gauge fuse 7.5amp.
The fuse controls the instrument panel gauges, none of the gauges work, the climate control unit and window motors.
It blew the fuse once and i replaced it and it was fine then blew again 10 minutes later, i replaced it with a 10 amp since i didn't have any extra 7.5's, It lasted for a whole day then blew, i replaced it and now it continues to blow instantly when you turn the key on, It blows instantly.
I removed the gauge cluster and climate control and it continues to blow as soon as the key is turned. The car is off when it blows, so I'm thinking its a short somewhere in the ground?
Any ideas of where to look at? which wire?
