I need a pic of the +'89 LED brake light assembly. Specifically in how it is secured in the wing.

A pic of the gasket, and whether it secures to the wing, or to the led assembly, would be nice as well!

Thanks :)

LOL, I don't have one - I have a replica aftermarket wing. The LED strip was siliconed into place, and I'm thinking of trying to replicate the stock led strip's mounting in it, if I can get a better idea of how it mounts.

Yeah, get me some up close pics of the LED assembly pulled from the spoiler, and the mounting/gasket setup, if you don't mind?

The LED bar is secured to the access panel with several screws - this is done while the panel and the bar are out of the car.

The access panel is secured to the car with a single screw accessed through the center pillar of the wing.

This page shows the access panel and gasket - access panel shows as 76871B on that page.

The LED bar bolts to the access panel shown in the first link. Then the gasket and the panel are secured to the rest of the wing with a single screw up the center post of the wing.

I had to replace my access panel when I first got the car as it was broken - like someone was trying to pry it off.

Finding the screw in the center post of the wing is a bit tricky as you can't see down there. You just have to feel your way around.
