Swapping motors into my new car, need a clutch that can support 400-500 rwhp with a t4 turbo. Need to buy it tonight or tomorrow, whats the best for a good price?

I have the RPS Max and I love it, they say its the master of all crank walk and it happened with me, but I am rebuilding a nuclear bomb proof engine that shouldn't be a problem. A lot of people like the Spec Stage3, and what you know, I have one for sale, lol, shameless plug I know.

rps max , will they support good amount of torque?

i thought the stock clutch would last me a little longer but i managed to get it to slip and she is slowly going on me,

i have a fidanza flywheel, i dont know if thats my problem but i like the quick rev,

seems i was only able to have the stock one hold 10-12 psi for about3 months of daily drivin, i figured i put about 6-7k on the clutch and after that it's sliped 5th, then fourth was slippin 2 days latter after i stoped romping on her she wouldn't hold third, i babied her another month and i got no grip to hold boost any more, now that i have a new shell and a good reason to swap my motor out, i figured i dont want to have to do another clutch for a year,

i just dont want some thing thats going to chatter hard, my brother and gf could drive the car, and a chatterin clutch is never good for the tranny either,

Bronze HPF is a decent clutch for the money..It held my 620 RWHP last set-up and did an 11.0@130 on it too :icon_bigg

well, how much power are you guys puttin down?

i know i might only bee at 300-350 range right now, but im still running stock turbo, and cams.

im leaning towards the rps max since there's a few that like it,

but what about south bend clutches?

im willing to spend about 650 but would be nice to spend about 100 or so less.

i know i cant go cheap, and i will only have the chance to spend this money once, well untill i get a careere under my belt. then maybe i could look around seeing which cheap clutch holds the most torque,

i have a few days off next week and i'll love to have a new clutch in my hands to put in my car, which doesn't give me very long to decide,

duane, the hpf bronze is abit out of my range, being i would opt to go with the rps max pressure plate,

any one else have experiances with othert clutches or brands? besides duane any one have dyno sheets showing how much they put down in their clutch car set up?

The Bronze disk is decent or you can go with SPEC..they are reasonably priced as well. Some like it some don't.

Which was?

the rps max, six puck,

i figured my motor is fresh so if the crank walk is a problem with this clutch hopfully it'll last awhile.

my brother's saying the spring choice i choose was a bad one? sayin it lowers the car to much and i'll have to buy new tires for the front?
