need 2jz bolt help

just a suggestion based on assumption . .. you can reuse the bolts off of the 2jz auto for the 1jz bell did it the other day. I'll try to remember to measure them the next time that I am with the car

here is situation swaping in a 2jz to replace 7m
-bought a 2jz engine no tranney or flywheel
-bought the 1jz bellhousing
I need the bolts for the bellhousing to 2jz, in my area its very hard to locate these parts.
and the 7m has only 6 flywheel bolts the 2jz has 8 so i need 2
i only really need the specs for the bolts so i can go to a hardware store and pick them up. would rather buy the flywheel ones if at all possible but the bellhousing ones i can get at a hardware store if i knew thread pitch and all of that.

honesly just buy them new at the dealer couldnt be no more than a few bucks each but if ur in a pinch compare with what you have but get a god grade bolt ie grade 8
They cost more than you think. I bought 8, of course, from Elmhurst Toyota. I paid $7.18 per bolt, and list price is almost $10 each [9.72]. This price may have come down since then, as it was over a year ago, but how much could it have come down, realistically?MA717MGTE said:

well i shuld have guesses some parts are cheap others they rape you the coolant hose on the 7mge from the tb to hard pipe was 37.00 wtf! maybe i was wrong on the bolt price.
High grade bolts at a fastner shop are cheap. I got some six 10.9 bolts that I thought I might need for like $3. Those are supposed to be steps up from grade eight so . .. there ya go, fastner shop

i ordered flywheel bolts but i was orginal taking about bellhousing ones i got the part #s so hopefulley this weekend i will get the thing running
