Hello,

I have noticed that the MN Supra Meeting post is from last year. Is their anyone in the upper midwest out there? Wondering about any plans for a meet summer 2006. I live in Fargo and would love a Supra road trip!!!! Its cold and snowing, da soup is in storage and god do I miss it.

Since my last post I have been thinking!!! Fargo is centrally located for the MN, SD, ND, and Canada Guys. I am more than willing to travel!!!! But what do you guys think about a Fargo Get together in May/June 06. Fargo is a nice sized town we have every resturant you can think of, lots of main streets to cruise, and plenty of Dodge Neons and Ford Escorts with cans that we can pick on. We also have Interstate Dragways right outside of town. My thought is this, I know some people who know some people. We could most likely have our get together at Interstate Dragways I am sure they would love to have us. There is a nicely mowed field campground off to the side of the track where we could probibly have as many as 300 if we had that kind of a turnout. We could do it over a weekend having the get together, show and shine, and parts swap meet on a Sat. We can cruise Fargo on Sat night and camp at the Track. WE can BS and drink a few if we want. I would make sure the track is open so anyone who wanted to LET ER BUCK would be able to get a run in. If this sounds good or you have any other ideas post a reply or shoot me an email. If we can get enough interested I will get a date and we can work out the details.

Im in sd 2 hours away from fargo. If i have a supra by than id be interested.

Hopefully we will get a few more people interested in a Fargo meet. If we could get more interested I will put a post on some of the other forums and on Sogi. I think we could have a great meet here in fargo.

Hello,

Been a while since I updated this post but it looks like not many of you are up for a ND meet. I do want to get something soing for the spring/summer. Their is a new MN post by Supra Sport Jack about a MN meeting this summer. Lets all get together and figure something out. I have replied to this post that I would be up for a road trip. Lets everyone get together we are only a few months away from being able to get our cars out. So Lets determine a place and time.

Were a meet is isn't as important as having one to me. I'd go ND, plenty of family over there. Or in Stillwater, let's just get a plan together.

Hello,

I would have to make a few calls but I have a friend who has a friend that runs a portable dyno. I know that they have had the dyno at interstate dragways here a bunch of times. I also know they have had this same dyno in Brainerd so I would have to do some follow up. So at this time I am not positive I could get it done without some research. We need to determine a date and a place for a meet this spring summer. I would love to have the meet here but I am also willing to travel so lets all figure it out. Lets do this. I know Suprasportjack is flexable on where the meet is so lets do this we have two possible locations Fargo ND or Stillwater MN. Everyone chime in and we will set a location.

Fargo- I need to verify with Interstate but I am sure they would be happy to have us. Location- Interstate Dragways, huge field for parking and show and shine parts swap ect, Drag stip open, possible dyno, we can all camp there overnight and drink a few, crusie as a group ect.

Stillwater- Jack help me out here if I am leaving something out. Dyno, area for show and shine parts swap ect. Crusing, camping?

So everyone vote on this post and we will have a place. We can then pick a date and I will post it to all sogi members and put a post on the other supra forums. Anyone else have any sugestions!!!!!!

Hello guys, Insted of planning on something in fargo or stillwater mabey we should look into Chicago. I followed up on the last post left and this was the reply. It sounds much better than anything I can throw together here in Fargo and we could all meet up like in Minneapolis and drive together. Us ND Guys can meet in Fargo and Drive together as well. So would you guys rather do this or should we still try to put something together.

Glad you emailed.

Chicago is a typical 2 or 3 day event with last year's
activities including a group dinner, a group lunch,
several cruizes, a dyno day, car show, and a bracket
drag race just for supras (which was in Wisconsin).

This year will be bigger and better than last! We
anticipiate over 100+ supras this year (this can only
be done with your support and involvement) and events
such as a BBQ, car show, group dinner, cruizes, dyno
day (possibly at sound performance), drag racing,
outdoor night life party with DJ, and much more!

The date hasn't been posted yet, but expect it to be
in late July.

I think chicago is the way to go to. Looks like the end of july. We will all need to meet up and form the old convoy. Lets all stay in touch and organize it as it gets closer.

Guys please please please plan around chi2k6 and tell your (insert girlfriend, mom, dogs walking day etc here) to go take a hike or come with you for the weekend. I know my girlie is comming this year, same as last! So bring your ladies!
