i was thinking, that instead of converting everything to turbo electronics, and then wiring up a maf-t pro in speed density when converting to NA-T, could i just use the stock NA stuff and use the maft pro in speed density. can anyone see any possible possitive/negative things with this? could it work? anyone done it?

how is no FC a bad thing, dont turbo guys try to get rid of it anyway?

We try to raise it. No FC means when the engine starts to run really lean because it needs more fuel than the system can provide, there is no failsafe to stop from detonation.

Is there a way to monitor it if you don't have gt electronics so that you could adjust?

Add an A/F gauge.

BTW - anyone looking for info on the MAFT Pro setup for the GE should look here: writeup: MAFT Pro install for 7M-GE

The link posted further back was while I was working on getting the system up and running and there's a lot of mistakes. The mistakes are cleared up later on in the thread, but the writeup is cleaner and has a few more questions answered.
