Since the EGR only operates under vacuum, it's all fine anyway, the valve will work fine. There are some different ancillary pieces, but if it's just the valve that's nonfunctional on your GTE, it may be worth a try, but definitely test it before installing.
Due to the nature of the EGR system, that valve is prone to failure, and I don't think I'd give very good odds to a junkyard one working properly. It may be more worthwhile to go with a new one.
