So I started working on my Supra project. Where do this plug and wire go? They were just laying under the alternator. When I hook up the battery sparks were flying. I assume the wire is hot. Thanks.

You may have blown a fuse when "sparks were flying."
But the "visible problem" there is that those wires both connect to the alternator and they are obviously not connected. The big one plugs right into the back of it (you cannot mistake where it goes) and the other one is clamped down by a nut that screws onto a stud coming off the top of the alternator.
Good luck...

unhook your battery, circle to the top of the alternator and the plug goes in the back of the alternator and yeah without sounding like too much of an ass... help with this means i think your in over your head already...

sorry

Thanks Spun..I was about to go outside and check it again because of jetjocks comment. This probably explains how I blew the 100amp fuse the other day. Thanks guys.
