My dad said they busted the door lock and tore up there steering column trying to take it. My dad said they stole a couple cd's thats all.

First thing i asked is my car ok,lol.

My question is Why break into the van when theres a supra in the lot and a bulit 400hp thunderbird there also own. If i had been up at my normal time of 3am+ i propobly would have seen them. The one night i go to sleep at a reasonable time and the neighbors get robbed

the van was probably "easier" to steal. Simaler thing happened to my younger brother a few nights ago.

some douche broke into the locked underground parking lot of his apartment building and passed over a beautiful turbo BMW, all other sorts of nice cars, and went straight to his 95 neon. The car is so beat up i dont know how he still drives it.

the theif broke a shaved down key off in the ignition and tore up the stering column. after he messed the neon up he managed to take a bicycle being stored down there...

people amaze me sometimes...

at least your car is ok!

id feel bad for anyone that was a victim of a crime like this. I know how id feel if someone touched my supra.

Some people just dont respect others and their property enough i suppose.

Yeah...thieves are assholes. I've had this shit happen TWICE. Someone stole the "Supra" badge of my nose piece and in the process gouged a big chunk of the cone off AND my neighbors broke into my house and stole a bunch of my shit a couple of months ago.

Glad your Supra made it out untouched though! Do you have an alarm or any anti-theft stuff on it? If not, may want to look into it now.

I got a no-name alarm in a box sittin here in my room for the last year.Factory alarm works flawlessly.Only thing in my car is a few mp3 disk and my escort radar, the cd's i can always replace but that radar was expensive and i would be sick, if it got stolen.

If a professional wants it, hes going to take it, this was prolly some crack head, that needed cash.

Yeah, theives amaze me.
A few years ago, someone broke into and tried to steal my dads old 89 Oldmobile at 10ish at night at his work. Like, this guy must have been desparate. He smashed a back window and messed up the ignition (and proved he didn't know how to hotwire a car). He left all of my dad's mountains of paper alone, didn't steal a thing. My dad was a bit surpried to see a back window missing, glass everywhere, and the ignition screwed up.

I figured that if the crook wanted that old POS, he must've been sadly in need of a car, and just too dumb to start it. And I gurantee this was a crackhead, certainly not a pro.
