I'll have to go to the gym and exercise my left leg to get it in shape LOL

I spoke to the guys that did the install, tehy said the instructions for the shifter say it will become smoother after 500miles and that it has a very tight bushing, so it's normal for it to be tight for a while. And of course I"ll have to break in the clutch.

I ordered all those boots and gaskets from toyota to cover up the tranny so the heat doesn't radiate up and the noise can be reduced from the shifter area. Hopefully I'll have that stuff in soon, toyota said parts should be here monday. Took the car out for a spin again after fixing the foot rest and it's much better now. :)

I raced some fixed up / lifted truck last night, he had a supercharger and a decent amount of power.... he took me off the line, i pulled hard on him in 1st after the turbo spooled... fell way behind in shifting till i got the damn thing in second, pulled hard again in 2nd, fell behind again shifting to third, and pulled hard and passed him in 3rd again.... he must have thought i was retarded and was just learning to how drive LOL. i went to the bank too (i know the banker personally, he gives me loans for my small business, etc) anyways he saw me revving high and peeling out in his parking lot (not on purpose mind you), i was just trying to drive the damn car, i was very embaressed. hopefully he doesn't think i'm on crack or something next time i apply for a loan LOL... but i'm starting to get used to it ;)

i was quoted like $5500-6000 to do the full TH350 + OD swap, and this 5-spd swap cost me about $1000 including the stock 5-spd parts, rebuild and labor. I supplied the aftermarket products (shifter, clutch, pp, etc).

i still plan on doing the TH350 later on, but i've spent a lot on this car in the past 6mo so i gotta cool down and relax a bit and enjoy what i have and get used to tuning the car on my own, etc.

If I waas going to spend that much on a tranny I think I would maybe buy a JZ seires motor instead but everyone has their own options.

ya really, 6 grand on just a tranny in a supra. not my cup of tea at all. whatever floats your boat though. people say im nuts putting the money ive put in my car as it is lol. when im done ill have more money into the brakes and suspension alone than the car originally cost me.

Hes already got a mean 7m, im sure hes plannign on more, i personally like autos better also, i thin kit is a good investment, there is no need for him to get a jz when hes got a well built 7m with that kind of power
