well the motor it torn down, the head is out, and i'm cleaning everying in preparation to put it all back together had have my car back. I would like to mention that this has been a gigantic PITA so far, but i'm a glutton for punishment. My question to those more experienced with aluminum, is how should i clean the old gasket off the head, also one set of valves has a whitish coating on it, while the other is carbon black, is this normal?
