now i found out what was wrong with the car, the fuelpump was busted. i figured id upgrade to an aftermarket one but dont have the cash, so i took the advice of my japanese friend and changed the pump into a skyline gtr pump. it makes allot of noise but provides higher pressure from the oem.

now heres my problem.

i took the car out for a spin for the second time after the swap and suddenly the engine died on me. turns out the ecu had burnt a hole through the board,

now these are pictures after trying to get it fixed, cant figure where the circuits go so if anyone can provide pictures of an undamaged one that would be great.

can someone tell me what could have caused the burn on that specific site?
where it might originate?

there where two fuses that wer cut that i noticed. the EFI fuse on the main and a fuse on the fuseboard under the dash

the one one the lower right(green) , have no idea what that one is for.
and the check engine wont light up.

i figured id get another ecu but i have to know first what might have caused it, so i wont fry the other one too. if i could fix it that would be great.
thanks for the help

Welcome to owning a 1jz car, lol.
I went through 2, before I decided to undertake the 2jzgte ecu conversion. If you do decide to get a new 1jz ecu, make sure that the capasators get replaced.
