ok..Red Pill Supra...installed a replacement passenger window since the old one was smashed. Done, adjusted, works fine with no rattling. At first it looked like a Pain in the a$$ but it wasn't that difficult. I am puzzled by one thing... What does this plug connect to or do? Is it a service plug or something?

RED Pill Supra Update: Today, 3/30/2010, manged to get the engine started and it ran Great! Sounded Great! However the Crankshaft pulley isn't turning and it is wobbling like a piece of clay pottery.
Didn 't have my gear puller to remove it....But today all I wanted to kno was the condition of the motor. Hopefully the pulley hasn't damaged the crank by wollowing on the crank. At least its not so worn that I could pull it off by hand because i tried my damndest to get it off and couldn't. Even prying with 2 screwdrivers didn't get it loose. Tomorrow is another day.

Here is the same plug from a picture of my car before I started my build. Don't quote me on this but I an pretty sure that it is a diagnostic port and there are multiple references in the tsrm to jumping pens on it to enter closed loop and setting timing???
As you can see there was nothing connected to it when I started Hope this helps.

It looks like you still have your diagnostic port... It should be the grey box just to the left of that plug.

IIRC my 7m had that plug unattended as well. I had no clue what it was, but it seemed to have no issues. Regardless, it still looks like you have the diagnostics, which should be hardwired in anyways...
