Hi everyone.
This is my first post. I currently have a 97 bmw 318is with a 1jz/r154 swapped.
It was my daily driver during the summer till I blew up one of the stock turbos at the track.
My parts when I used it as my daily are
stock 1jz/r154
255 fuel pump
act extreme 6 puck clutch
3 inch ic pipes
24x12x3 intercooler
full 4 inch exhaust into dynomax bullet race muffler.
megasquirt ecu running ms1 full sequincal coil on plug with stock sensors.
also boosting 15lbs on the bpu setup.

Right now i'm collecting part to build my big single.
I have 76mm turbo,
ssqv bov
tial wastegate
aem true boost controller.
ngk wideband
another 255 fuel pump
inovate lma-3 dataloger.
4.36 lsd from a skyline

AND i need
big single manifold
fuel injectors/rail/lines/reg to finish off my combo.

Why are you going for such a huge turbo? A gt35r would be the bomb on that car. Good luck either way though.

For reference, I made 543rwhp with a 1jz and a 35r.

I've had this turbo sitting in my garage before I even had the 1jz. It was going on my old camaro but since my stock 1jz blewup, I figured, I should try it.

The 1jz isn't really big enough to spool it quickly. It will spool it.......eventually. It may work out well for you, but if I could sell it and get a smaller, more efficent turbo, then that's what I'd do. Good luck either way.

A camaro probably had a 5.7 liter as opposed to a 2.5 liter.
