So now I guess I'm really starting over again!!!!

December 19, 2011:
Traded my 92 Green SC300 for a 92 SC300 white. After about 10 Hours worth of running around and swapping parts here is the new project.........

Here are the before and afters of both vehicles...

In case no one noticed I love taking pics...took some more of the progress. Valve covers are prepped as well as the spark plug cover. Also sandblasted the intake manifold. Trying to clean up as much as possible

Engine bay received a major degreasing it was disgusting. Lots of oil sludge from leaking headgasket and bad valve cover gaskets. Maybe tomorrow I may be able to prep the bay for some primer.

Started mocking up the intercooler today and replacing all the rusty bolts, tapped all the bolt holes in the bay and started putting everything back where it belongs. Still debating the abs delete...

Thanks guys. Emp the head is a TT head. And no success on the silly shifter fork :-(

As far as the interior goes its definitely in good shape which I'm pretty pumped about. And the wideband I can see pretty well from where I sit so its not bad. I'm still trying to decide where my other gauges and stuff are going to go.

Dec. 17, 2012 Well I haven't posted in a while as I've been extremely busy working on a ton of other projects. I recently acquired a pretty complete GTE motor for the SC and started ripping it apart. Plan is to replace all the stock stuff with some nice shiny internals. Needs some love but hopefully this winter the motor will be complete.

Do the climate control displays go out on these like they tend to on the LS? I notice you have a picture of a climate control unit, hence the question...

Anyway, looking forward to more updates. :)

Yes the units seem to just bleed and become hard to read. Fortunately I found a display that is still in one piece.

Got back to work and pulled the ge motor out again to strip the necessary parts off for the GTE motor. The engine bay was so dusty from not touching the car in a while.
