Funny I sold my restored 68 440 500hp Charger to buy my Supra LOL, now someday I'd like a 68 Valiant or a 70-74 Challenger set up for handling and a Toyota 2Jz in it, that's my kind of muscle car.

Thats just after getting painted.
403 oldsmobile is FTMFW!

Ahhh, the 403 Oldsmobile. So much potential - such a rev happy motor - too bad the main webbings are too weak to keep the crankshaft in place when spinning it up :3d_frown:

Doward an old buddy had a gold 78 T/A, and and other had a 74 455 SD Auto anothe buddy rebuilt for him, the engine was filled with Pontiac Aluminum parts that were only available IF you had the part numbers, it had the widest good tires back in the day B/F Goodrich Radial T/As, KYB gas shocks, and to this day have never been in more responsive better handling car than that 74 with my Buddy driving. Another buddy still to this day has his 69 Black 400 4 speed set up for handing sitting in his garage, he got it in 75.

1967 Chevelle Was my first car in High School - It was so nice my auto mechanics teacher let me park it in the shop all day so it would not get hit in the parking lot. SS 396 It ran low 12's in the 1/4 mile.

This is not myne but it looked exactly like this . except myne had the black vinyl top. It was my fav. car

You didn't specify if it was Japanese, american or what...;)

Sorry. Needs at least 300 lbs/ft of torque from off-idle to be considered 'muscle'

:D

Suprageezer, tell your buddy he needs to sell me his '78 T/A :D

Worst mistake of my life was letting that car go :3d_frown:

I'm heavily in love with all things Chevy, a late C3 Stringray vette is probably my idea of the ultimate muscle car, closely followed by a 70' Chevelle and 69 Camero, both SS models of course...

On a cheaper note, I wouldn't mind building up a 86 Monte Carlo SS. They seem like pretty nice little cars, and aren't too expensive.
