Driving like a granny I have seen just shy of 34 mpg imperial (28.4 US)on the highway. I have, drop in K&N, 3" turbo back exhaust everything else stock. I avarage about 25 mpg for day to day use.

i drive on the freeway alot because of my job at 70MPH in 5th gear im at 3200 rpm not good for gas IMO

The RPMs you are doing have a lot to do with you being NA and either having the stock 4.10 rear end, or the sport 4.30. Just as a comparison, my Metro does 3750 RPMs at 70 and my 3G does 2600 RPMs at 70.

The gearing definitely determines RPM, of course...but RPM is not nearly as significant as you would think when concerned with fuel economy.

This is a good article that discusses the factors that effect fuel economy, with real data, including varying RPM: The Factors Affecting Fuel Efficiency.

last time I filled up I checked and it came out to 17 mpg city/highway driving. Though, this is with intake/exhaust/maft pro/ebc at 12lbs and boosting hard all the time.
