Hey guys, ive been searching and diagnosing my issue for the last 2 months and cannot find out what the problem is. I did the jdm 2jzge motor swap with 7m electronic on my 1990 mk3 supra turbo 5speed. I got it fired up and running good but it wont rev or at wot past 4500rpm. It spools pretty quick, pulls hard until 4500rpm. It drives fine and boost fine at 12psi until 4500rpm and it will break out real bad. I put a 100 miles on it driving fine. It doesnt throw any codes. I am running lean with 680cc, plugs are all white. With cruising and driving i have to add fuel to run right instead of taking away fuel.

Here are my mods,
Jdm 2jzge with 50k-60k
Pte gt4067hps
1.3mm cometic hg
Arp studs
44mm wg
Fmic
Hks ssq
3' exhaust
Siemens 680cc injectors
Ross machine custom front face intake manifold
Q45 with 7m tps
Vpc with 550cc chip
Afc2
Aem wideband
Small high perfomace Odyssey battery
Rewire 255 fp with 12 gauge wire(should of use a 10 gauge)dont know it that would matter
Sx fpr set 50psi with vac off
Is300 coils
Ngk 4644 spark plugs gap .028
New fuel filter

Things that ive done and didnt solve the problem,
Tried a different working tps
Tried a different fpr
Switch back to 7m coilpack
Took vpc/afc out, run stock afm
Tried gapping the plugs from .022-.028
Tried a different working ignitor
Put stock 440cc and chip back on
Tried a different working cps
Timing set to 10 degree with jumper
Turn vpc fuel all the way up
Tried a different working ecu
Drain old gas and filled new gas

Still need to try a different fuel pump(installed a 255 fp in 2008, garage park until 2016
Need a boost leak test also.
Compression test is on the way also

Anything would help at this point, thanks in advance.

What codes? Did you get a 34?
The other week it died on the road, it wouldnt start. It threw codes 14 and 43, towed it home. The next morning it starts right up like nothing was wrong with it. But now it dont throw any codes.

Ok when i rev the motor to 4500rpm it looks like its hitting rev limiter at 4500rpm on the stock tach, but the afc readings are hitting rev limiter 6400-6500rpm. Can it just be a bad tach or is off? This is only 27-28% throttle, or is it my tps is off. Or the tach is off reading and making me think im hitting rev limiter at 4500rpm but its really at 6500rpm.

is this a new swap? and are you using a signal converter for the tach? this is getting old but if you found your solution please share :)

Sorry ive been busy working. The problem is the tach is off, i monitor the rpm on the afc and its all good. The car has been sitting for 5 years i didnt thought it was off cause before i garaged the supra the tach was working fine. Glad that is solved. Just gave an Audi A4 a run on the street, 3rd gear the supra flew passed the Audi A4. That just felt good, havnt done that in a long time.
