Misadventures in motorcycle sales

Well, I just put my Harley in the used lot on base, and got a call within 45 minutes of getting home. A young PFC offered me a good amount for it. Well, I go back to the lot, and we meet up. I let him try the bike, and he almost wipes out before getting out of the parking lot! I swear he almost gave me a heart attack. Thankfully he didn't wreck it. The joys of trying to sell a motorcycle.

Yea, make sure you have their cash if they want to go for a test drive.

I would never let a stranger rise my bike w/o cash in hand.

If they show up on a bike, I wouldn't care as much. Or if they can convince me they are a bike rider. I sold my last bike and the guy had cash in hand, road it from my bike yard down the road and back no problems. Easy sale. (got lowballed tho :/)
