I would and i would have the head machined to an almost mirror finish or you will have have problems same goes for the deck of the block the RA/Roughness Average need to be withing the specifications of the head gasket manufacturer.
I would never have a head milled/resurfaced past the minimum thickness specs its a bad idea. But you said your head was at 155.80 mm and the minimum thickness spec is 115.82 mm so i seen no problem with you having it milled as long as you dont take off more than 39.98 mm which there is now need to go that far anyways.
Oh well that changes everything my friend. Having the head/deck milled/resurfaced to an RA/roughness average within the head gasket makers specs is about the most important thing you can do or you will end up just putting head gasket after head gasket on it as many people on here have found out the hard way. The prep work of the block deck/cylinder head gasket mating surfaces are of the utmost importance.
115.80 < 115.82. The head casting is done. Get another one.
Why mess around with that? I know they make 3mm MLS gaskets now, but do you really want to go there? I'm sure that there are decent enough head castings available.
