I'm in the process of building/swapping in a 1JZ and will be running MS with Sequential Ignition. Hopefully it all works out.

If you need any info on it, let me know as I've accumulated a fair bit (in regards to running the 1JZ off of MS).

Was wondering who is runing this yet.. and opinun... And any source on just buying the pcb board alone? i looked last night for a hr and can only find kits of some sort.

I spent the last 13 months working on a MS 1jz setup. The ignition setup was the most challenging part for me. MS cant talk to the ignitor very easily. My friend was the one who loved MS and sorta pushed me into getting it. I purchased a AEM EMS 6860 last week though, so it is for sale now. It is a plug and play to the 1jz wiring harness. I am going to post it soon in the for sale section. are you running a 1jz or 7m?

I want the MS for my 2jz-ge. I have seen some people running it on Clubna-t but no actual help or guidance on how to install it and tune it properly. (or I haven't found it)

For the bare boards we have them listed in the catalog as 'B&G CPUs ad PCBs' - link is http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/-c-34.html

But the last post on the DIYPNP, for those of you that we have a kit out to support now, that's the ticket. The out-of-the-box featurelist on that kit is very nice.

And for those of you that we don't support yet, we're working on it. We're adding a new kit in about two weeks for a few Euro cars, and you guys will be the next in line kit after that unless we have long lead times on the connectors. They're on order now though. It's a 52pin Nippon Denso style connector. Labeled "10T-18T-24T" on the stock ECU.

Here's a partial application list for that new kit that's coming:

Make Model Engines From To
Mazda RX7 All 1986 1988
Toyota Celica Supra 5MGE, 7MGE 1986 1986
Toyota MR2 4AGZE 1988 1989
Toyota Supra 7MGE, 7MGTE 1986.5 1990

sorry, i haven;t been posting much, but I'm runing megasquirt on my 1j with all stock sensors. the coil are not controlled by the stock ignitor, but coils drivers that i bought with my megasquirt. I can see why people give up. Took me 4 months to figure it all out.

it's was running stock twins and now a t88h-38gk. I also build in launch control and nos control to spool the turbo.

Props. Great little vid.
Yeah, I stopped when i got the bips. I just didnt want to cut my wiring up because i didn't see anyone actually get it to work using them. I will wire them up and sell the EMS 6860. Thanks!

I had a MS1 v3 on my 1jz with stock sensor except the trigger wheel on the crank was modified.

I ran the stock 1jz ignitor but with 7m coils pack because the 1j ignitor can't drive 2 coils at the same time.

Now I'm 2jz and everything runs perfectly with the exactly same set-up and stock sensors.

What will the 'new kit' consist of for the 1986.5-1990 7MGTE? Can you post up a link to these kits when they become available, please? Thanks.

It will be a DIYPNP kit with the proper connector and machined case for this connector, to fit these cars. We're calling this the N52 connector, so the part# for this kit will be DIYPNPN52-K

The DIYPNP kit contains all the parts needed to build out an ECU to enable the features on the features page here: http://diyautotune.com/diypnp/features.html

There's a little video overview of how they go together here: http://diyautotune.com/diypnp/video.html

And plenty more docs and info available on the pages at the links above too, click the tabs at the top.

It'll be a very slick solution....

As for notification when it's released, we'll be getting the word out a few ways, primarily through our website and through forums we sponsor. The best way to be the first to hear would be to 'become a fan' of our facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/DIYAutoTunecom/57837395932?ref=mf We pretty much always leak new info there first.

I just got my 1jz running on MS2 3.57 V2.89 + EDIS6 + SC300 coil packs running fine in 2 days. Probably one of the easiest to get running.

Thanks to Diyautotune for their great service.
