Mater Power T70 question

Hi, today i took off my compressor housing to polish it and i noticed the compressor wheel is huge, almost like a gt42 compressor wheel, my question is; why does this turbo doesn`t make power like a gt42? if i replace the compressor housing for a bigger A/R would it make any difference? i know if i replace the exhaust housing i will gain HP but i will be laggy, Thanks

The GT series is MUCH more efficient at moving air - that's why even tho you have a huge (older) design, the GT still outflows it
