Anyone ever have black gunk leak from the map? I took my manifold off and it had two black runs all the way down. The bottom of the sensor was basically eaten away. Im guessing my fuel pressure regulator was leaking fuel to it.

Is my map sensor shot?

Anyone able to shoot me a link on how to test?

thats weird on the map sensor there is only 1 input for vac - so if there's oil in there there's oil all over your vac system

that doesnt look like its coming from the map sensor.

Map sensor gets vac from the manifold so unless that is in the manifold and getting sucked into the map sensor it should be fine.

It's not oil, its gummy stuff from what ever they sealed the map sensor with mixed with gas. The fuel pressure regulator was leaking fuel and sending it into the map sensor. Where it ate away at the epoxy, and ran down the manifold. 20140213_152717_zpstjamc7e_edit_1392950565798_zpsezoaxbmv.jpg

I had just got it on the road. And I ran into this problem, so I tore it apart and got the injectors tested, bought two cam sensors with plugs because they were full of oil, gonna buy a new pressure regulator. I wonder if my map is crap now? What are yoi asking for the map?

That gunks from the map sensor itself, look closely at the pins inside the map theyre probably shorted, from excessive resistance inside.
