Hey guys, i got an interesting problem here, i have a maft gen2 and a zeitronix wide band, and im attempting to hook up the wide band to the maft for air/fuel tracking.

The problem im having is i connect the wide band analog output witch i believe is the white wire (dont have the instructions in front of me but i know i have the right wire connected) connected to the orange wire on the maft witch is the wideband input.

When i connect those i get readings in the sensor monitor page of the MAFT for O2 voltage and AFR. The AFR and voltage are both wrong (high). I checked the output of the wide band and its the correct voltage going out, but somehow the maft has a high voltage signal going into it. Its off by about .5 to 1 point at idle. the wide band will read 14.5-15.2 and the maft will read 15.3-15.9.

I have the purple wire of the Gen2 (wide band sensing ground) attached to the same point where the wide band unit is grounded.

All connections are good, no loose wires, i even reconnected them with the same results. it seems the maft has a better ground then the wide band. In theory that would mean when the wide band thinks its putting out 2.5 volts its putting out 2.6 volts to overcome a bad connection at the ground, then the maft with the better ground connection is receiving the full output of 2.6 volts resulting in a .5-1 point higher reading on the maft.

anyone use this setup before or experience this type of problem?

noone? i realized after reading the instructions again that the ZT2 has a EMS output ground. i procedded to hook that up and its more acurate then before but this seems to be off by .1-.3. is this normal? or should it be spot on accurate?
