you will still want new front and side seals and probably new bearings deepening on how frisky you feel. jawsgear has a kit that includes the bearings and seals.

Looks like a good upgrade for our LSD, think I was looking at $350 in parts from Toyota. Mind you that kit has no bearings or seals, still.. cheaper and an upgrade.

I just got off the phone with Weir, and that is the kit for the 7.5" MKII diff.

I personally don't know, but he told me the MKIII has a 8" diff and that kit won't work.

Damn...

If it does then he ripped me off. I paid 165.00 for a rebuild kit and all he sent me was eight clutches..........nothing else.

I think I'll just be getting the Toyota rebuild kit when it comes that time, and following the advice on the link the poodles posted off supraforoums.

Dumbo, what's this rebuild kit from Toyota? The EPC doesn't mention one. Do you have a part number?

Sorry I thought I read on that Supraforoum post that there was one.

Still though I think I'll just get the parts from Toyota. Clutch packs, shims, bearings and seals. My diff is a 86.5, so it should have the heavier spring compared to the later diffs.

Sorry for the miss-informations. Maybe I'll see if Jeff Lange can give us info on diff parts.

If anyone else gets a rebuild kit from Jawsgear, let me know what it comes with. I think either he forgot to put the rest of my parts in there or it should be called a clutch pack and not a rebuild kit.............:sarcasm:
