In the words of Big John McCarthy "LETS GET IT ON !!!"

Time & Date TBD but I'm thinking a Sat &/or Sun in Sept. If there is any interest. I'm Open to Ideas & the date will accomadate the majority of those who plan on attending. I would like to see Dynos, Show-N-Shine, Group Dinner or BBQ/Cookout & a nice long Fun Run.

Post up what ya think.

I'd make Chicago if I could, but how can I tell a 4 year old there will be no Mickey Mouse at the Magic Kingdom because daddy wants to see some cars? Next year I plan to be there, though.

September, on the other hand, is WIDE open and the sooner I can fill in a weekend, the sooner I know I can make an event. Probably not best to have it on Labor Day weekend, though. Lots of people get busy camping and family commitments, but I will plan on being there either way.

Lets speak up for Louisville! Less than 2 hours from Indy, Cinci, Lexington, Evansville, and all points in between. Nashville is doable for a day trip if a weekend is too long, and Columbus, OH isn't much further.

Steve, I'm casting my suggestion for the 23rd & 24th of September. Any ideas on routes for the fun run, or cookout/dine out locations? If you need a little help making arrangements or anything let me know.

You know, years ago I did a car show and went to my local grocier.... bought around 100lbs of hotdogs with buns for like $200.

We need to do a hot dog roast and presell tickets for like $10 - get the local *insert charity here* involved and tell them we'll give them "$x" for every ticket we sell.

Works great for free advertising on the radio.

I have a few Ideas on the routes but depends on how many attend. Small amount of folks we can hit up more twisteys & larger # we would do more freeway but either way will have a nice mix of both. As for the cookout/dineout if we have 10 or less I would say everyone pitch in & we will do a cook out at a park. Thats easy & simple with a small group. 10+ I'd say we hit up Hooters, Mike Linnings or other type of sports bar. Always open to Ideas but with the intrest so far we can have the meet at my place & we'll order pizza & watch old SOGI Meet vids. :icon_razz

I second Sept. 23 & 24th. I get my license re-instated Sept. 20th. That would be perfect. I missed the Dayton, OH meeting and would love to make the louisville meet. I would like to get on the dyno as well. I think a cook-out would be awesome. Also curious about the routes for the fun run too.
