Today i did a compression check on my 1988 toyota non-turbo supra and noticed that it looked like i diped the #4 spark plug in oil.the whole bottom of the spark plug was driping with it.I'm hopeing that the piston rings are ok.I rather replace the head which i think would be easier to mess with then to take out the pistons since i don't have the equipment to take out the whole engine. My question is if i just replace the valves.and valve seals would that PREVENT THE OIL FROM REACHING THE SPARK PLUG? COULD SOMEBODY HELP ME:bowdown:

It may just be oil leaking from your valve covers. I had the same problem and replacing the valve cover gaskets and mounting hardware corrected the issue.

new gaskets with some FIPG and the stainless screws will do the trick. make sure the bolts are torqued evenly so you won't have leaks in the near future (makes sure the valve cover stays flush to the head)
