So my climate control blinks alternately with my blinkers when I have my lights on.
I've done a bit of electrical work to the car, o2 sensor wiring for A/F meter (used cig lighter for power, and i believe cruise control activation button on left panel for the other two wires), side marker blinker mod, rewired a new TPS electrical connector into the harness, removed light failure sensor (got on my nerves), a lot of new grounds, wiring for stereo/speakers, removal of alarm system (thx shaeff), removed mast antennae and wired antennae into the alternate hatch windshield one and probably some other smaller stuff I cannot remember. I have not cut directly into the ECU for anything aftermarket.
I haven't really done anything to attempt to fix this yet because it really doesn't bother me but i'm currently looking at the TEWD and I see heater control assembly under Automatic AC. But it is obvious that the climate control is wired into the light control switch through the taillights/illumination schematic. Though on the Auto AC schematic for heater control i do not see the solid green light for illumination.
My first assumption is that I "may" have crossed 2 wrong wires when i removed the light failure sensor but i triple check all wiring so its a maybe. That is the only spot I can see logically based on the schematics of the illumination and heater cont assembly where it can be tied into the blinkers. The problem is sometimes turning the blinker on doesn't even cause the climate control to blink alternately. And in conclusion, why wouldn't the other lights in the illumination schematic blink alternately as well?
