I got kind of the same problem just happened yesterday, when I pull the latch, it has that "hood already popped" feeling, like there's no tension on it, but the hood won't pop. I even tried prying the hood up, I could get it up far enough to get my fingers under it but as hard as I pulled it wouldn't come up. This is really annoying, all I wanted to do was just look around the engine bay make sure everything loooked alright.

Seriously guys, this is pissing me off, the shit is stuck closed.
I have the release lever duct taped up, does nothing, I even removed the grill and stuck my arm through and moved the latch release lever up and down while pulling up on the hood, still did nothing. WTF??? I even pulled off both plastic covers for the headlights and started pulling up on the hood, still nothing. This fucking sucks as I had a whole list of shit to get done today, but the hood won't open!!!!
