At what point is an HKS SSQ not enough to prevent compressor surge.
I have a 67mm .70 ar turbo, just want to make sure I don't need a bigger
BOV.

How much boost are you running? The guy who made your catch can has a rotary spinning to 13K with a 67MM. He runs two HKS SSQV.

It depends on how much boost you will be running. I say sell the HKS SSQV and put a Tial together. It is plain and simple and just works efficiently.

I have seen the HKS SSQV give problems on a 67MM going past 25 PSI, so people tend to run two.

With that said, I ran the same turbo kit you have with the same size turbo and turbine with an Authentic HKS SSQV and it was fine when running 14 PSI. No compressor surge at all. If you plan on going higher than 25 PSI on that 67, just add another HKS SSQV, one on each side of the intercooler hidden or run a Tial.

All this experience is from the same kit you are running so I am not talking about a 70MM turbo, it is the same 67MM you are running.
