I agree, if you cannot park, you should not drive.

I hope they make the people who buy this car sign something that says if the self parking fails Lexus isn't at fault.
That my friends is why Toyota is the best damn car company on the planet and is, in my opinion, on their way to world domination!!! Bwahahaha!!!!

Yes those two points are 100% correct. :icon_bigg Its more of a tech thing for Lexus to have on the competition. Edit: My point was that anyone can not use something correctly and make it look like its not working.

yeah, but after backing all day with a long trailer....the damn car just dosen't back right....steering whell is all backwards( i think this is something only another truck driver could understand...)
I think that if they came out with something like a 4 wheel steering kinda thing then that would be cool. Kinda like the GMC Sierra C3.
Sorta like the 8-spd transmission. I haven't driven one, but from what I've heard it hunts a lot and is pretty slow on the downshifts. (I'd believe it, even my grandpa's older LS with just a 5 speed is pathetic, you floor it on the freeway, it shifts down one, lingers for a sec, and then is kinda like, OK, fine, here's the real power) So with this being a brand new thing, I don't expect it to be awesome, I know the entire point was to outdo M-B's brand new 7-speed (which supposedly is quite quick and on the money, once again haven't driven it)xscurry said:

Now imagine when you tell them it can park itself......oh boy. If you NEED radar, self parking, backup cameras to be able to safely and properly drive, you need your license revoked because you don't have the common sense to pick a vehicle you can safely handle.
Anyway, that vid was hilarious. I don't think I've heard one good review of that "feature" yet.
