so when it rains i get a small pool of water in my spare wheel well. im assuming its my hatch seal, since the entire car is under the garage except the last like foot of the car is sticking out.

not sure where to find a new hatch seal, or how to go about replacing it. and if there are any steps that i might not know about when it comes to replacing it.

anyone else had a problem with this and fixed it?

Hey bro,

Vancouver Toyota's your best bet. They have a Supra Owner's discount of some sort, which is pretty cool. I just got the 4 targa seals from them cuz they were the best price of the big four "cheap" dealers (Claremont, Elmhurst, Champion and Vancouver), and I got quoted on the hatch seal as well for future reference...

Part number is 67881-14110 and their price is $46.67. Make sure you speak to James or Sarah and let them know that you've been told about the Supra discount (just refer to that price above).

As far as replacing the seal; it's a complete pain in the ass... It's not impossible, just time consuming and precise... If you don't do it right, it will continue to leak even with the new seal, so make sure to do it or have it done right the first time!

I don't have much experience with it personally, so I'll leave "step by step" info for someone more knowledgable!

Take care,

-James

thankyou for the info. its a big help.

and i was also thinking my taillight seals as a possibility as well, since the drivers side one fogs up a little, and has a dime sized rust spot just underneath it..

im gonna pull away the plastic in the back of the hatch and check everywhere for some more evidence to try to point me to where exactly its coming in from. but for now thanks again.

much appreciated

I get some water in the rear too, but I don't understand how could that be the hatch seal.... On the other hand I'm using hatch seal from Ford Taurus or smt. It went in perfectly, exactly by millimeter :D
