got a massive gear oil leak from my steering gear box on the power wagon. a new seal kit costs $17, but shipping will kill me and i dont want to have to wait a month to get it.
can anyone reccommend a sealant/gasket maker that i can use on this? i figure it wouldnt be too hard to take this apart, run a bead of sealer along the edges and bolt back in.
is this a good idea, or even possible?
