Kenwood DDX Double Din DVD/Nav Unit

Anyone ever installed one of these in your MK3? I am thinking of moving the AC Controlls to below where the radio is now , and the DVD/Nav unit in its place. Anyone have any info on moving the AC controlls down a bit? Is there any play in the wires that it connects to?

Because my MK3 is a manual I dont want the shifter to be in the way, and it seems because this is a touch screen it would be better up there.

You will have to extend the wires, but you can put it anywhere it fits.
