Soo I just got done with my hg and I can't figure out why it won't start I'm thinking its the cam shaft position sensor because it trys to turn over but just keeps crankin but also the sensor is cracked around the ceramic case right around where the metal shaft goes out to the gears and is hitting on something when u try and turn the gears

What makes you think that it's the CPS? Are you still stock? Modded? Are you sure the timing is set right, coils firing properly, TPS set right, fuel in good supply? More info please...

If the inside is hitting on something something is wrong and it prolly needs to be replaced.

So it cranks but no start correct?

Check for spark. Bad CPs would cause no spark.
Check for fuel.
Check codes. (don't just look for check engine Ight)

Watch your tach as you crank it, if the needle jitters around, your CPS and wiring is working. If you see no movement of the tach needle while cranking, you need to investigate the CPS/wiring.
