I'm not sure if this has been posted before, I'm sure it has been. Also, mods, if this is in the wrong spot I apologize ahead of time.
Anyways, I just recieved my brand spankin' new Exhaust manifold for my 87 7M-GTE. Bought it on ebay from CXRacing.
I'm prolly going to post pictures tonight, but I just want to vent. This thing looks like my 7 year old got his hands on a metal shop. Oh, and it ain't stainless, not even a little bit. more like half ass chromed steel. But yea, welds look like hell, pipe work leaves alot to be desired. In general, saying is true, you get what you pay for. And I went into this understanding that, and kind of expecting it. So my plans are to tear this mani apart, and modify it to my specs..... then get a good chrome ceramic coat on it. I'm going to try to do this as a little how-to thread. I'll take picturees tonight of the startings of my build. Also, I goofed, I though I had bought the undivided T4, and i realized after it was at my house, I got the divided T4. Ahh well.
