Well i just found a guy with a jdm engine and i just wanted to know if i need a jdm ecu or can i use the usdm one? If u know any other things that i would need to complete my swap please let me know thanks.

You can use your ECU and harness, you just need all of your sensors on the new engine.

be aware that the jdm comes with an egr block off. if you want to pass emissions in some states, you might want to take one from your car now

if u got new plugs and have everything running well u can pass without egr

I am planning on doing a turbo swap in a while with a jdm engine... I have an 88 turbo ecu and I'm looking for the wiring harness... I just need to get an 88 wireing harness correct? it should all plug right in?
