Ok, my car has started smoking a lot recently on idle and when i decel, i thought i needed the valve seals...but then i started tearing into it and i took the Downpipe off and noticed there was OIL on the exhaust side..and my wheel has a little play, more than it had 2 months ago.

So if the seals were going out, would that cause the shaft play?

Wheres the BEST place, that isnt horrble Expensive to Get this thing Rebuilt?

i swear every xmas its something
-winter 04 - head gasket
-winter 05 - new turbo
-winter 06 - new motor
-winter 07 - rebuilt turbo ?

If its a ball bearing unit, go back to ITS. I could rebuild it, but you're going to be waiting some time for machine work and balancing.

Also, these units come out of balance when the wheels start gathering oil/carbon deposits or damage.

well i got it from a guy in canada that had a hookup in Cali that sent me the turbo from there. its like a knockoff sp61gt.... i paid $800 New. Its non ball bearing.
The blades are all great, no nicks nothing.

How long would it all take? no longer than 2 weeks?
how much?
and could you make it ball bearing or put a bigger wheel in there? how much?

Right now you're looking at longer than two weeks if the bearing housing is fubar. It would have to go and get machined.

If it has major amounts of shaft play, the front seat plate will need to be machined, and that takes around 2 weeks or so....

After all said and done providing the bearing housing doesn't need to be machined you're looking at $395 or less....

well why would the back plate be messed up?
Also, if the housings needed to be machined, how much would that bring the cost up to? just so i know what im looking at if it is....limited amount of money here...

Also, i have an oil return line that is a heat resistant hose that has a barb fitting...and it leaks and i dont like it. Im sure if i sent the turbo to you, you could make me one steal braided?

Would it be more than a Month?
Give me you Info
