ISC Check Valve differences?

Is there a difference between the check valves for the ISC between pre-89 and 89+ models? EPC says there is a $25 difference, but is that it? Search turns up nothing.

Well, if they are priced different, then they are different. You may not be able to get the old part number anymore. A supplier could have stopped producing it. Or ir could have been decided that a stronger solenoid or clearance in it gave a nicer idle for autos in drive. That information might be found in an old TSB, if you can find one.

damn your response, i was afraid of that. i called toyota and asked for the $10 check valve and they said it could be here tomorrow, but i dont want to buy junk or something that wont hold up to the boost. i was just kinda hoping this was another one of those circumstances like the accordian hose (you know where one version is way way cheaper than the other).
