is it a good idea to buy a used aftermarket muffler??

i can find tons of used jap mufflers from chop shop here .. i saw one apexi dunk muffler that i wanna buy (since hearing people say dunk has a smooth sounding muffler).. but is it a good idea to buy it? since i don't know inlet is still good or not..

yea used mufflers are fine.. just get one that fits your style and requierments and go with it

Nothing wrong with getting a used muffler as long is it is in good condition.

I don't see why not. Just make sure its in good condition. I just bought a used apexi N1 exhaust and it works great

1JZ30 is from Malaysia. Although the bulk of our members are either from the US or Canada, we've got people from all over the world here folks.

I think he means junk yard.

He probably doesn't realize that here in the US, a "Chop Shop" is a place that cuts up stolen cars and sells the parts illegally...
