OK, this is a little perplexing. I have a good puff of smoke at decelerated stop... once or twice out of 10 stops. About 1200 miles on rebuilt engine, 5-30 synthetic blend, no other signs of failure other than a turbo with a small amount of shaft play.
I was thinking turbo, or BOV adjustment. I adjusted the BOV, and it is a little less than before, but at the same interval. Short trips and revving at a stand still does not replicate it.
The I thought some more, I by-passed the evap canister, and running without one. The smoke is light blue, and very little most of the time when it does this...
Any ideas? I did compression/leakdown checks with no evidence of concern there...
Thanks !!!
