intermittent no start

ok every once in a while after the car gets hot and only when it gets hot and you turn the car off the car wont start again i have to wait 15-30 minutes for the car to start up again. im getting an ecu short code but i have 3 ecus and have tried all of them so i dont think its an ecu problem... any ideas?

Check the grounds off the battery and make sure they are all good and none are cracking coming apart etc. This problem happened to my dads F-150 and he replaced the grounds to the battery and no more problem.

Heat soak? A lot of mkiiis have this problem. I would check your codes as well. Even if it doesnt have anything to do with the starter, you have problems.

So why didnt' this happen to new Supras then? Not starting when hot.

I have seen a few ignitors stop working when hot. But a more likely cause is vapor lock. Yes, even in fuel injection.
