Ok so history first.
-New toyota red coolant
-Recent WP job
-When I bought the car I *think* the VSV was bypassed. I am fairly certain.

Anywho sometimes, like right now, the car refuses to blow warm air into the cabin for me. The coolant level is up, radiator and reservoir. Recently I had the car on a 2800km trip and maybe once or twice I thought I had noticed it not blowing warm air but I shrugged it off as I knew the coolant level was good and watched the temp gauge like a hawk. I am also pretty sure that the other times I turned it on to blow warm it blew warm.

Now that we are getting into the colder season here (just about 0 Celsius) I would like to figure this out. The only things that come to mind are

1. Plugged heater core
2. Maybe something VSV related but I sort of doubt it.
3. After thinking about it some more I remember someone saying that the heater control unit in my JZA70 car was known to have weak solder points on the board itself. So I was considering resoldering all the points to see if anything happens.

Any other advice or opinions? Thanks guys.
