Intercooler fitment Help

I am wondering what a good size would be for a large intercooler. I have a friend selling a 38"long x 12" tall and 2.5" deep ATA intercooler cheap. Can I fit it?

I think it's too wide to fit between the frame rails. Mine is 31"x12"x3" and it just fits between the rails.
